To express gratitude to the foreign domestic helpers who have silently contributed and supported countless families in Hong Kong, the Li Ka shing Foundation has teamed up with Hong Kong Disneyland to launch a public welfare activity.

It is reported that this public welfare event will be held in two batches on March 29th and April 12th, covering a wide range of areas. It not only invites foreign domestic workers from the Philippine community to participate, but also includes domestic worker groups from multiple countries and regions such as Indonesia, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Thailand in Hong Kong, comprehensively conveying care for foreign domestic workers of different nationalities. It is worth mentioning that the number of activity spots this year has increased by 1000 compared to last year, from 4000 to 5000, demonstrating the importance and care for the group of foreign domestic helpers in Hong Kong.

To ensure the smooth implementation of the event, multiple organizations have provided collaborative support, including the Indonesian Migrant Workers' Union, Bai Enfeng Home, and Christian Action. All parties have worked together to build a platform to ensure that eligible foreign domestic helpers can participate in the event smoothly and enjoy benefits. As an indispensable and important force in Hong Kong society, there are currently about 390000 foreign domestic workers in Hong Kong, of whom over 90% are Filipino and Indonesian nationals. They provide household chores, care and other services to Hong Kong families all year round, making important contributions to alleviating the labor pressure brought by Hong Kong's aging population and releasing local household labor force.

In addition to free admission to the park, each participating foreign domestic helper will also receive an exclusive experience package worth over a thousand yuan, including a one-day ticket to Hong Kong Disneyland, dining vouchers, and Octopus cards, providing comprehensive protection for foreign domestic helpers' joyful journey, allowing them to enjoy the park and taste delicious food without extra expenses, and relieve work pressure in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

Since its establishment in Hong Kong in 1980, the Li Ka shing Foundation has been committed to public welfare. This collaboration with Hong Kong Disneyland to launch an exclusive charity event for foreign domestic helpers is not only a recognition and gratitude for their hard work in Hong Kong, but also further conveys the tolerance and warmth of Hong Kong society. Industry insiders express the hope that through such activities, more people will pay attention to the contributions of the foreign domestic worker community, while creating a more belonging living environment for migrant workers and helping Hong Kong build a more diverse and warm society.
